Meet Ellen, a General Education student taking classes on campus at
MECC. The Scott County student drives to Big Stone Gap for classes but, like
many in the region, she does not have computer access at home for homework.
Computers and wifi Internet access are available at our class sites during
regular class hours. Post-secondary students with campus or online classes
are welcome with their college ID to use available workstations.
“Drop by your local adult ed class and ask for help,” says Ellen. “You will
find the faculty are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.”
